Joe Switzenberg MPT, J.S.C.C.
Joe graduated from Hahnemann University (now Drexel University) Physical Therapy school in 1991. He practiced traditional physical therapy for the first 6 years until he took his first Jones Counterstrain course. Shortly thereafter, he launched a private practice clinic and began treating patients with Counterstrain on a regular basis. He took all the Jones Counterstrain courses and became Jones Certified in 2008. In 2010, Joe took his first Fascial Counterstrain course. He has since taken all of the Fascial Courses as they have become available and now employs Fascial Counterstrain nearly 100% of the time in his clinic.
Brian Switzenberg PT, DPT
Brian graduated from Hardin Simmons University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2021. He grew up seeing Counterstrain and its effects on patients through his father’s practice, and went to school intending to join the practice and develop his manual therapy skills. Since joining Texas Manual Therapy in 2022, Brian has become an advanced Counterstrain practitioner and is highly recommended by his past patients.
Logan Rhodes LMT
Logan has a passion for assisting people relieve pain naturally. Highly skilled in soft tissue manipulation, Logan, easily transitioned from Massage Therapy into Counterstain Therapy. He believes that fascial counterstain represents the future of soft tissue healing and approaches this modality with excitement and a drive to advance it to the mainstream.
Clayton D Gable PT, Ph.D.
Clayton is our newest member on the team. He has 45 years experience as a physical therapist. He has taught anatomy and physiology to both medical doctors and physical therapists. He has an extensive background in manual therapy and now desires to become an expert in the Counterstrain technique.
Kim Switzenberg
Practice Manager
Kim runs the business end of the practice and oversees all of the office's daily operations. She is the person to talk to about insurance, billing, payments and day to day issues that require upper management decisions.
